PhysioNeuroRehab is run by Steffi Skalla, who is a specialist physiotherapist in neurological rehabilitation.
Steffi has over 20 years’ experience working with people with complex neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury, stroke and MS.
Steffi’s experience encompasses working within the NHS, independently with individuals in their own home, and with case managers and the legal profession. She was lead physiotherapist in the Bath regional brain injury rehabilitation unit for many years. Currently she is running the Neuro Outpatient Physiotherapy and FES clinic at St Martins Hospital in Bath, as well as working independently with patients in the community.
Steffi is passionate about facilitating people to make maximum progress towards achieving their individual goals in a safe, fun and supportive way.
Steffi has strong links to services both in and outside of the NHS and can help you to understand and access those services.
Steffi is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), the UK Acquired Brain Injury forum (UKABIF), Headway, and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists with an Interest in Neurology (ACPIN).
